A few months ago I had this great encouragement show up for me by my friend Kathy Lacey. I’m sharing this today because this week is Thanksgiving, so I want to share some gratitude before I share this story in the hope it encourages someone reading this – no matter what time of year you read it.
1. I’m grateful for you, because you are here reading this site!
2. I’m grateful for my husband, he’s a gem.
3. I’m grateful for my family and friends, they help us go through this life.
4. I’m grateful for my dogs, even when they make me feel like howling lol.
5. I’m grateful especially for Jesus, He is EVERYTHING!
So here is a little story I shared on FB this past summer and I hope it encourages you. I am also including a link to another post I wrote on this. I did find out, that as a W.A.G., I am not alone!!
Friends…true friends…just lift each other up and encourage them, especially when they least expect it! Thank you Kathy Lacey, love you! 😘💞
🐕
W.A.G.? 😁yep, weird animal girl. Something I was called by girls bullying me in 6th grade. Now I own it woot! 👏💪🏻🐕🐕🐕 – ALL.DAY.LONG. And I belong to a tribe filled with weird animal girls and guys.
🐕
What prompted the term “weird” for these girls was I always talked about animals not boys 🤔😆. Um duh I grew up with brothers lol.
🐕
I had a friend who sadly passed away a couple of months ago. I shared this story with her privately a couple of years ago. She was always being put down for her love of dogs and oils. I told her that what she was being called was awesome! To own it and un-empower the negativity attached to it and make it positive empowerment for her…and she did!!
🐕
A friend, Cheryl York Olmstead made me a WAG meme and one for our tribe too. We slayed the negative dragon!
🐕
So this gift is power-packed with a whole lotta love 💗 🙌🙌🙌💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻😍😍

An article by Dr. Caroline Leaf may also help encourage you on how to get through this holiday season with relatives you don’t see often, or situations that seem to arise during this time. I heard of a sweet woman who just this week lost her husband in a tragic car accident. She and her two daughters were in the car as well, and while she and her younger daughter were uninjured, her eldest daughter is in critical condition and her husband died on impact. We have much to be grateful for and each day is a gift. Let’s not forget that, and while you’re being grateful, please hold this family up in prayer too. I’ve been thinking of them a lot even though I don’t know them. Let’s be grateful for what you we have, not what we don’t shall we? And count each day as a blessing, even with the adversity that sneaks in on any given day. Even in the face of tragedy.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Until next time…
Have a PAWsitively, tail waggin’, NATUROPATHICALLY healthy day!
