A couple of weeks ago I decided to share a photo that I took of my two dogs, Schatzie my beautiful Carolina Dog (aka American Dingo and)whom I often call Beauty Queen, and my American Bully, King whom I often call Bubba or Bubba King. They were SO uncooperative and yet both are SO photogenic as only dogs can be. They were playing in my office and being silly but the minute I grabbed the phone camera, they would not look at me or the camera. As soon as I’d put the camera down, they’d look full on at me and then resume playing. It was like they were thumbing their noses at me – except they don’t have thumbs!
So I took a photo anyway and then this idea popped into my head as my silly way of explaining how I think they COULD perceive the photo opp from a HUMAN perspective. Yes, I know dogs are animals but I often have wondered if they know things and would say things if they could. They are far more insightful and aware of things than I believe we can even conceive. They have emotions and feelings which is also contrary to the stance science took for far too long and are just now starting to come out of the dark ages on that thinking.
So here is what I wrote about them as though this was a photo taken by the sneaky and sleazy type of paparazzi magazine photos taken of celebrities:
“Schatzie, aka former model and now a Beauty Queen is DOGgone tired of the Puparozzi invading her private life. Her companion and bodyguard, Bubba also known as King, gave the Puparozzi the paw and with The Look, warns them (ahem moi) to back off or suffer the wrath.“
I shared on this on my Facebook timeline on February 10, 2015. I got a LOT of response – laughter mostly lol.
Thank you for reading this silly post – I have a few more of these up my sleeve because my dogs just inspire fun, laughter and joy in my heart. If not for them I’d be an old grump!
Until next time…
Have a pawsitively tail waggin’, NATUROPATHICALLY healthy day!
