Okay, so all of us who have pets know how NOT fun it is to step in their poop right? I can pick up poop but getting it stuck on the bottoms of my shoes is a gross factor for me – no matter how much kaka I’ve had to deal with over the years of working in kennels, vet clinics, etc.
At least I was outside in our muddy lower yard after 36 hours of rain and not inside. To me that’s even worse if you’re barefoot or wearing socks in the house and step in a mess like that, UGH.
However, it’s also why I didn’t see it – mud and poop can = the same color. Also, the poop is smaller poop in raw fed dogs. Soooo I took my boots off on my patio and that’s when I saw that sight we don’t like to see embedded into our shoes – YUCK!
I’m sparing you the photo of that because I didn’t take one. I went inside and grabbed my spray bottle filled with water and one capful of Thieves Household Cleaner (by Young Living) and soaked that mess with it. I left it by the hose and went inside to do a few things – maybe 15 minutes. I came back and sprayed the shoe bottom with the hose and it all came off so easily. No scrubbing, it just came off and completely dispersed – YAY happy dance!
Side note: we pick up poop daily so the odds of stepping in it are rare THANKFULLY…they’d just gone as it was early morning so it’s still semi-dark. Which means fresh poop. Raw fed dogs poop hardens and then disperses rapidly over a few days so that wouldn’t have been so bad lol – YAY for raw feeding and raw fed dogs too. No, I had to step in the fresh stuff of course hahaha!
I’m sharing so you can have an easier time of this too! Check out my Wishlist if you’d like to know more about Greening Your Home – the Thieves Household Cleaner is listed there.
That’s all for this time – short but not necessarily sweet lol…Until next time…
Have a PAWSitively, tail waggin’, NATUROPATHICALLY healthy day!
