Pets at the Pearly Gates

Three dogs in heaven
Meshach, Schatzie and Shadrach together now

This audio and post is from my former podcast (Animal Talk Naturally 2005-2018) I co-hosted with my colleague Dr. Jeannie Thomason, but I shared it on my former DOGgone Truth podcast (2018-2024) as well. It’s from 2008, but I shared it on my DGT podcast in 2019 for one reason: to help some friends who were going through a hard loss of their beloved pets at the time (like I am now after losing King in December). My friends wanted to know if their pets would be in heaven. I hope this will give some insights and encouragement for those desiring to know. We did a series of these type episodes which I’m happy to share here and I will be focusing in this area more on this blog also as I feel it’s needed and will hopefully help those who are struggling with this.

Scripture: “But now ask the beasts, and they will teach you; and the birds of the air, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you; and the fish of the sea will explain to you. Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this, in whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.” ~Job 12:7-10, NKJV
