Mighty Dog of Valor!

Mighty Dog of Valor

Ezra, my mighty dog of valor! I recently began calling him this based on two things: 1) what we say & declare/decree over others matters (our words matter far more than we may realize), 2) from the scripture on Gideon in the Bible, Judges 6:12

The thing is, Gideon was threshing wheat in the wine press to hide from the Midianites what he was doing – the right thing in the wrong place. However, the Angel of the Lord appeared to him and said, “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!”

Gideon knew he wasn’t valorous at the time but God sees us as He made us not as we are (until we become who He says we are at least).

That’s our transformation process. Ezra has not been valorous for many reasons but he definitely has it in him. He’s always been lacking in confidence. I won’t go into all the whys behind it because we are moving forward.

I began calling Ezra mighty dog of valor about a week ago – he REALLY likes it when I call him this. His whole body changes. I’m sure I convey a whole new tone and attitude as well with him. He’ll live up to this one day I’m sure. I’m decreeing it over him so he too (like us) can step fully into his purpose and destiny.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat it’s fruit.” ~Proverbs 18:21

Ezra on guard

We’re choosing to speak life…John 6:63. And life more abundantly…John 10:10

SIDENOTE: Over two years ago, Ezra, as a 9 1/2 week old little wild thang came into our lives. I honestly didn’t think we could survive the first week! Yes, he was that challenging and not just because he was a puppy.

My life had already been turned upside down that year with the loss of our former #carolinadog Schatzie. Then the closing of our school in animal naturopathy. The fracturing of friendships, and more.

Now we are emerging into the new thing God whispered to me back then, that He is now doing in the earth. Things seem super weird and they are. A lot has changed and will continue to.

Ezra focused on something

However, we can emerge stronger and better. Or not. We can receive all God wants for us to be and to do through us now. Or not. I’m choosing to receive and be exactly what He desires. I invite you to as well. As we unite. Stand firm. Run this race.

Stay the course and even when you think you just can’t, keep going because you are worth it. The ones we love are worth it. The ones we struggle with are too so worth it. My Mighty Dog of Valor has taught me a lot and continues to – even though I often wished it wasn’t so challenging – except if it hadn’t been, this new era we have entered would’ve been even harder. My Mighty Dog of Valor is making me from a winepress wheat thresher into a Gideon too – by necessity! That’s when the growth happens – not in comfort zones. We’re WAY past being able to stay in the comfort zone yo – so rise up mighty men, women and dogs of valor!Ezr

Until next time, BE well and…

Have a PAWSitively, tail waggin’, NATUROPATHICALLY healthy day!
