The “Stalking” Game

To segue from last week’s post on The “Giddy” Game I play with King, this week I am going to share a video of my husband Donnie playing The “Stalking” Game with Meshach – a video I’ve never shared before anywhere.

Here is the synopsis of this game that I shared on the post last week:
We had a game we played with Meshach – we called it The Stalking Game. I was not the “actor” in that one – it was with my husband Donnie and Meshach although Meshach played it with me MANY also. One day he surprised both me and Chryssa (a friend whom we used to walk with) when he played it with Chryssa’s Great Dane, Dahlia – and Dahlia immediately began playing it with him! Both Chryssa and I began to hum to the tune of the movie theme, “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly” LOL! I didn’t share this in the past because my husband doesn’t like how he looks in the video. But now we both know it will be fun to share this as a special memory of Meshach regardless of how he looks – he looks good to me no matter what anyway 🙂

King and I continue to develop out The “Giddy” Game further – it now includes playing hide and seek. I do the hiding and King does the seeking. It is ever so much fun – it has me just silly with laughter and King just silly with canine antics that include many zoomies 🙂

What is great is all of these games encourage our dogs to THINK. It is also a great way to bond with our dogs.

Until next time…

Have a pawsitively tail waggin’, NATUROPATHICALLY healthy day!

    1. We thought so too Tunia, he was such a “different” dog but then they are all unique aren’t they? We sure do miss him, but we are glad he’s free of his suffering and that we have all of these wonderful memories of the sweetest dog I’ve ever known!!! I look forward to our heavenly reunion 🙂 <3

      Love always,
      Kim

We play the stalking game with Meshach’s brother Woody also. What Woody finds most fun is to combine the games of rope toss and Hide and Seek together. We toss the rope into one room; while he runs off to get it we go hide in another room, and then he has to find us. It gets us silly with laughter too, and Woody loves to search the house until he finds the person who is hiding. Thanks for sharing the video of Meshach.

    1. Thank you for sharing this Carole! I think Meshach and Woody were the most alike. I can still enjoy Meshach by watching Woody grow into such a fine young man 🙂 It’s so funny to play the “toy” toss/hide n’ seek game isn’t it? I will admit that sometimes I nearly wet my pants waiting for King to find me LOL – just like a kid. I am trying to suppress my laughter hahaha! Anyway that is probably TMI LOL!

I love how our dogs invent these games and have no problem figuring out the evolution of “the game” either 🙂

Love and hugs to you and Woody (and your entire gang)
      Kim <3
