The Omnivore-Carnivore Question: Article in Horse Magazine

By Dr. Kim • May 24th, 2009 • Category: Media Room

vol11issue3cvr-sm It sounds funny doesn’t it? Having an article about carnivores in a horse magazine may sound funny but the topic is a serious one. My colleague, Dr. Jeannie, and I (Dr. Kim), wrote an article originally entitled (and our preferred title for this article by the way) “Carnivores NOT Omnivores” for the May/June 2009 issue of Natural Horse Magazine. However, the magazine changed the title to “Dogs: The Omnivore-Carnivore Question.”

There is NO question about it in our minds. But possibly the editors want to give their readers options. We’re hoping you’ll read the article and come away knowing the truth about our carnivore statements and with NO question whatsoever in your mind. Because after all, this is not about US it is about the animals. Not about OUR convenience, but about convenience for the animals. Not about what WE need, but what the animals need, according to their species. Not about what we believe but rather about what is true, even if we don’t want to believe it.

The good news is soon we’ll be sharing an incredible journey a veterinarian took to get to the truth about dogs and cats. We’ll be inviting you to attend the webinar of his journey with visuals and if that doesn’t convince you of the true nature of dogs and cats, nothing ever will to the detriment of their long-term health and quality of life.

To read our article, go to www.naturalhorse.com and pick up a copy of the magazine. Their articles about natural horse care are absolutely awesome and the photography is simply beautiful!
