Cranberry Assist for URI’s in Pets
By Dr. Kim • May 17th, 2009 • Category: Bladder & Urinary Support for Dogs & Cats, Herbal Health for Pets
This is a combination of herbs and vitamins that have been used traditionally for support of healthy urinary tract function. Cranberry may assist in preventing urinary tract infections by preventing bacteria from adhering to the walls of the urinary tract, and may help prevent struvite crystal formation.
In order to prevent naturally the occurrence of URI’s in pets, consider feeding them a diet that is natural for them: a raw meaty bone diet! Dogs are opportunistic scavenger carnivores and cats are obligate carnivores. Both need raw meat and bones to thrive and not just survive.
