I’m all for using nature to support the body, especially when it is in a “cleaning house” phase such as a cold or cough. This article really does give some insight into the hows, whats, and whens to use both herbs and homeopathy in this situation. I use many of these herbs myself and also with my dog – slippery elm is a staple in our house.

I get all my herbs from Mountain Rose Herbs. I really love their service and their herbs are superb! The only thing better is growing them yourself :-)
