Hospice for Animals: Spirits in Transition on ATN
Ella’s my friend too - for real, WOOF! I met her last summer, June ‘07, as we rode in the car to Santa Fe and she held my paw all the way…AND she thinks I’m handsome, WOOF!
This week on Animal Talk Naturally we have special friend, whom Kim had the pleasure of meeting in June ‘07, holistic veterinarian, Ella Bittel. She is the founder of the program Spirits in Transition as a wonderful form of hospice for animals. Ella is a practicing holistic veterinarian in CA, with the specialties of acupuncture, acupressure, chiropractic, cranio-sacral work, homeopathy, TTOUCH, and energy work. Here is this week’s synopsis:

Quotes
Coming to peace with the “real life” process of dying, versus some theoretical concept of it or its distorted TV mask, can let us discover its incredibly life enriching value. Animals can teach us about this if we let them, giving us a last priceless gift from that relationship of person and companion animal.. ~ Ella Bittel

About Animal Talk Naturally
Two women, one podcast – “unlearning” to care for your animals naturally is their message. Kim Bloomer and Jeannie Thomason, now in their third year of online talk radio, include weekly guest experts on their show and daily short segments called “Animal Crackers” – audio commentaries from other animal loving friends. You and your animals can be “ears up” for the podcast at www.animaltalknaturally.com and now their LIVE show ATN Gone Wild, all about the human-animal bond.
