Aspenbloom Pet Care & ATN in Animal Wellness Magazine, Holistic Times, and Pet Home Magazine
Time for a little braggadocia - for our website, radio show and blog sponsors this means a lot more exposure! My current college, the Clayton College of Natural Health, sends out a quarterly print magazine/newsletter Holistic Times. They put several students and graduates in each issue and this time I was fortunate to get a write up on page 22 about my writing and podcasting for natural animal health which you can read online or download as a pdf. It was a great surprise for me and totally unexpected
but I am happy to receive this honor!

My co-host of Animal Talk Naturally and ATN Gone Wild radio shows, Jeannie Thomason, and I wrote an article together this summer entitled “Be a Label Detective: How to Read and Understand Pet Food Labels” which was published in Animal Wellness Magazine’s Special Report Issue on the Pet Food Recalls of this past year. Animal Wellness Magazine asked us to write this article for this special report. I hope all of you who have pets will pick up a copy at your nearest Barnes & Nobel or Whole Foods or order a copy online:

Animal Wellness Magazine boasts 75,000 copies, published bi-monthly (over 150,000 readership) and distributed throughout North America in bookstores including Barnes & Noble, B.Dalton, Indigo & Chapters, health food stores including Whole Foods and quality pet stores, veterinary clinics, shelters, fitness and wellness centers, paid subscriptions, strategic partners, associations and much more. In 2007, look for Animal Wellness Magazine at major consumer events across North America.
Lastly I have begun writing a column on natural dog health for the new magazine Pet Home published by my friend Colleen Paige founder of National Dog Day and the Animal Miracle Foundation which is live online now and will go to print in 2008
