For Pits Sake! on Animal Talk Naturally
This week on Animal Talk Naturally, we have with us Nicole Rivera, author of the children’s book Max the Shelter Dog. Nicole is a volunteer at a local shelter and was so moved by a pitbull named Max, she wrote this book that will ultimately be a series to help educate children on responsible pet ownership. Nicole shared her personal story and how this book came about. It’s a sad story, but Nicole has decided to leave a legacy of hope to the world as a result. We did have some audio challenges but ignore that and listen to the heart of this story. Here is this week’s synopsis:
