This is our 100th show on Animal Talk Naturally! Mom and Dad went to the Roosevelt Middle School’s Puppy and Pet Pawlooza in Tijeras, NM and videotaped the event. I didn’t go and I should have bepaws Mom was kissing all the other dogs AND even a mini horse, rrrrufff! We hope you enjoy our 100th show and our first videocast!

This week on Animal Talk Naturally, we have with us Nicole Rivera, author of the children’s book Max the Shelter Dog. Nicole is a volunteer at a local shelter and was so moved by a pitbull named Max, she wrote this book that will ultimately be a series to help educate children on responsible pet ownership. Nicole shared her personal story and how this book came about. It’s a sad story, but Nicole has decided to leave a legacy of hope to the world as a result.
