We have Dr. George Graham with us this week on Animal Talk Naturally and he’s a BONEafide dog lover, and an old friend of ours…well he’s not old but he’s a friend of ours..oh you know what I mean, WOOF! Starting out as a two-woman natural pet health podcast, Animal Talk Naturally is expanding to accommodate a growing desire for more education on natural pet health and welfare

February 25, 2007 – When two women put their minds together to create something you never know just what might happen. In the case of Kim Bloomer and Jeannie Thomason a natural pet care podcast happened.

The two met in the late spring of 2004 and discovered their like-minded approach to natural pet care. They felt they had to find a way to share their passion for natural health together but weren’t quite sure how to accomplish this with Bloomer living in NM and Thomason in CA. The two didn’t have to wait long to discover that podcasting was only some audio training and an RSS feed away.

I’m standing out here in another snowy NM day. This was during the Christmas holidays but it was just like this again today, Valentine’s Day when we recorded this show. Anyway, our good friend Dogtor J was with us on Animal Talk Naturally today for his monthly appearance with us and it was pawsome as always but even more so, WOOF! Now don’t get concerned that I look thin in this picture bepaws it’s just the angle although I am slender, no fat on me which you rarely see on Mastiffs these days - Dogtor J talks about that too! I eat in the winter 3 or more pounds of meat & bones per day and not much poop either, hehe -which means I assimilate almost all of it. I’m telling you this bepaws Dogtor J talked with us a lot about this today and you’ll discover how even my humans have gotten really healthy and dropped lots of weight just by listening to what Dogtor J shares on ALL the shows with us - look for an ALL Dogtor J CD coming soon to Animal Talk Naturally. Yippee another dog show this week on Animal Talk Naturally! I’m VERY loved so it’s pawsome that we’re having this show to the love others have for us dogs too. While the topic is about possible adverse reactions in us dogs from medicine (drugs big HARMa stuff) the outcome is very positive for those wanting to be a part of the solution and stand in the gap for us dogs, WOOF! I’ve been thinking a lot lately about all the anti-pet legislation happening across the nation. Many people might think these new bills and ordinances are pro-animal, pro-pet but everything is not as it appears on the surface. Ponder these things:

I was asked by a wonderful new friend I met recently about cucumber “oil” and I honestly had not heard of it before although I have heard of cucumber hydrosols (ie flower water or flower essence). This new friend, Marvel, sent me some information on cucumber “oil” and I thought I’d share it with you:
