A natural first aid kit for your dog
On our latest Animal Talk Naturally! show (which will be up on Tuesday, August 15 -my birthday :-) at 10 AM EST) , Jeannie and I talked about being prepared for an emergency situation with your dogs and other pets. Here is the natural first aid kid we talked about:
This is the Essential 7 Kit by Young Living that include the necessary oils lavender for burns, stings, etc., Purification for cleaning and disenfecting wounds, scrapes, cuts, peppermint for upset stomachs, diarrhea, vomiting, etc., lemon for disinfecting and cleaning, Peace & Calming for stress, anxiety, Joy for love and calming, and Panaway for pain. Also the items you would want to include in your regular first aid kit (and remove some things like peroxide and iodine) are:
the Thieves soap, essential oil blend, and the spray (shown here) which we also talked about on the show. Other ingredients to have in your kit:

Bandages
Gauze pads
Blanket (s)
Cold pack
Tweezers
Adhesive tape
Scissors
