I’m a Top Dog of America, YIPPEE! Yep, I made it into the American Dogs of Distinction book and I did it fair and square, WOOF! This is a Special Edition show of Animal Talk Naturally! We have Founder of American Dogs of Distinction, Jill Lanese, with us on this show. I think I’m in love with all her girl dogs, hehe, but especially Crystal, WOOF! Jill talked with Mom and Jeannie about DOGS, my favorite subject! They talked about all the good things we dogs do for society -especially since mainstream media only wants to talk about the bad things we do (and they NEVER say how it is YOU humans who make us bad either). ALL dogs are good if given a chance, sigh. Oh this was a positive, fun and upbeat show with LOTS of information. The good news is Jill will be with us during the upcoming Online Dog Expo also, YIPPEE! She’s gonna be hanging out with Jeannie a LOT too but you’ll have to listen to find out ALL the details, hehe. So here is the synopsis for our Special Edition show:
1. Remembering 911 and the dogs who served so well
2. National Dog Day and House Pet Magazine’s Dog Contest
3. American Dogs of Distinction
4. Spellbound Collies
5. The importance of a structurally, genetically, temperamentally sound dog
6. What breed is right for your lifestyle?
7. Puppymills and pet stores
8. Proper species specific feeding and nutrition
9. The Whole Dog Forums and the Natural Rearing Breeders Association
For Immediate Release:
Do you own a dog but would like to learn more about them? The 1st Annual Online Dog Expo September 22-24 is destined to be the place to be for dog owners, fanciers, and rescuers, during this worldwide event
In light of all the negative news we often hear about dogs in mainstream media these days –dogs being killed by the thousands in China, dog bites and attacks, dog genocide in many cities under the guise of Breed Specific Legislation – there is some refreshing news on the canine horizon.

Oh WOW, this is a paWsome show we have this week on Animal Talk Naturally humans! Yep, it knocked me out and especially bepaws it’s all about big pharma, the government letters and our supplements. Be responsible for your own health and ours AND do NOT follow the yellow brick road -Emerald City doesn’t exist, WOOF! It’s the Matrix, rrrruff! Mike Fillon, author of Supplements Under Siege and Ephedra: Fact and Fiction (books featured here under our Pet Resources) is our special guest and he packs a big punch with a soft-spoken voice -at least until he gets fired up, WOOF! So here is this week’s synopsis:
1. Announcement of our new feed, our newsletter, and all the places we’re streamed now!
2. The Online Dog Expo September 22-24.
3. Is our healthcare really free and full of choice or are there powers working overtime to see to it we only have one choice: drugs?
4. The supplements that have been under siege and also denigrated in mainstream media are the ones competiting with expensive pharmaceuticals and far cheaper
5. Is there a conspiracy?
6. That Magic Bullet -so who is accountable?
7. Iatrogenic deaths
8. DSHEA and CODEX
9. The solutions

Immediate Release:
Online expos offer international exposure, contact and ease of access without the expense and hassle of travel and lodging hassle
With the cost of petroleum rising to critical mass, and the expense of running a business rising to match, there had to be a better way for dog businesses and aficionados to connect. No sooner than we can pose a problem in the 21st century the solution is often immediately before us and this is no exception. The 1st Annual Online Dog Expo is taking shape to bridge the gap over international waters with only a computer and internet access.

Yep, that’s me singing happy birthday to myself, hehe. Dad took this picture of me on my birthday, which they just celebrate on August 3rd since I’m adopted and they don’t know my REAL birthday. Anyway, I chose this photo to go with this week’s Animal Talk Naturally! bepaws I’m singing for the truths Dogtor J shared with us this month! This was rrreally eye-opening for Mom & Jeannie, especially since in Mom’s and Dr. Elliot’s book, Whole Health for Happy Dogs, they say we should be spayed and/or neutered. I’m neutered sigh. Oh we are not talking about being irresponsible but rather about HEALTH and TRUTH. What is truth? Well, you should know it IS absolute -whether you believe that or not doesn’t negate it, WOOF! This is such a revelatory show that we know you may be provoked and may be irritated and may be doggone ticked off, but well it’s impawtant information to share. Here’s this week’s synopsis along with a couple of statements made by the Animal Rights Movement you should know before listening to this show:
“The cat, like the dog, must disappear… We should cut the domestic cat free from our dominance by neutering, neutering, and more neutering, until our pathetic version of the cat ceases to exist.” John Bryant, Fettered Kingdoms: An Examination of A Changing Ethic (Washington, DC: People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PeTA), 1982, p. 15.”It is time we demand an end to the misguided and abusive concept of animal ownership. The first step on this long, but just, road would be ending the concept of pet ownership.”Elliot Katz, President “In Defense of Animals,” Spring 1997

Yikes, we’re talking all about First Aid on Animal Talk Naturally! this week! Brings back some not so good memories for me rrrrufff! Here is this week’s synopsis:

On our latest Animal Talk Naturally! show (which will be up on Tuesday, August 15 -my birthday :-) at 10 AM EST) , Jeannie and I talked about being prepared for an emergency situation with your dogs and other pets. Here is the natural first aid kid we talked about:

Also the items you would want to include in your regular first aid kit (and remove some things like peroxide and iodine) are:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASECanines have their own bakeries, hotels, and high fashion, so not surprisingly they are now taking over the internet with their own exposition
Albuquerque, NM August 8, 2006 - Dogs seem to have it all these days with special bakeries dedicated to them, haute` couture, along with special doggie daycares and hotels. With this in mind, it isn’t surprising that the next big thing for dogs would be their very own online exposition.
The first annual Virtual Dog Exposition will take place Friday September 22 through Sunday September 24, 2006. The weekend long event will kick off on Friday evening at 7PM EST at Virtual Dog Expo. Animal Talk Naturally online radio duet, Kim Bloomer & Jeannie Thomason, along with Co-op World’s Rob Anderson are hosting the event.

Rrrrwwow! We had the most fun and pawsome guest this week on Animal Talk Naturally! We had the most fun -well Mom did interacting with him. Jeannie had an emergency and couldn’t make it which was a bummer for her but she’ll be back next week to share with Mom on First Aid for us animals, WOOF! Okay so back to this week’s guest. He’s quite talented on so many levels -with us animals AND he’s an artist, sculptor, and musician. His name is Ron Hevener and we want him to come back on our show soon. So before I get carried with away with excitement, here is this week’s synopsis:

We made it into the Washington Post although they did say our blog rather than our website -which is still okay considering, LOL! Our blogs are Bark ‘N’ Blog, A Dog’s View, and Animal Talk Naturally! (which is also our online radio show) but we’ll take the little bit of press hehe.
