RSS and blogs are the hottest buzz words online. Aspenbloom Pet Care decided you don’t have to know how this all works to make it go to work for you

ALBUQUERQUE, NM October 17, 2005 – Aspenbloom Pet Care, a business that specializes in educating pet owners on natural alternative prevention care for pets recently had their website upgraded from a static website to a dynamic viral website.

While that may sound like strange adjectives to apply to a website, in technology it is very basic language to explain the difference between a traditional website verses the trendy new updated version of websites.

Kim Bloomer, owner of Aspenbloom Pet Care, first learned of RSS technology a few years ago while reading online technical ezines. “I was trying to at least get a handle on how some things work online and how to apply it to my own businesses”, stated Bloomer. “I got the concept of RSS but was a far cry from being any kind of tech savvy. In the pet industry there was a time that none of this technical stuff was necessary but that is no longer true.”

Technology has grown by leaps and bounds and there are virtually no businesses today that can survive without utilizing some technology in some way. Blogging has become a favorite tool to use online to promote yourself, your business, or your agenda on every subject and industry that exists. “After blogging since early 2004 using another system to share my natural pet care news, tips, resources, etc., I recently discovered and fell in love with the WordPress template through my good friend Dee Kreidel of Saving Grace Enterprises ” continues Bloomer “I was first encouraged to switch to the WordPress template from my business coach Deb Micek of Advanced Business Blogging but balked at moving my huge database. After Dee’s encouragement and advice I took the leap. Moving my blogs wasn’t fun but blogging with WordPress is a blast!” remarked Bloomer.

The Aspenbloom Pet Care website was originally put together using a Boxed Art template by friend Cathy Carlton. “The website was functional although not easy to manage for a non-techy like me, “commented Bloomer, “I need simplicity with technology or I get loopy. Dee made that happen for me by taking my website up anotha notch! She took my website’s flash template and integrated it with a WordPress template then tweaked a few things to give it a website flavor instead of a blog look. This makes running my own website fun, easy and more of the blogging I love anyway! WordPress made this all possible.”

This is taking the dynamics of RSS and blogging technology and blending them with traditional websites making life simpler for the average website owner while utilizing the power of RSS.
